## About the Founder

Joe started with poor English foundation -- "deaf and mute" English from a small Chinese town. College entrance exam: 106/150. CET-4: 469. CET-6: 426. After years of dedicated practice, he scored 6.5 on IELTS in March 2022 and moved to Canada for a master's degree in August 2024.

In November 2023, Joe built an early voice-based IELTS speaking simulator and open-sourced it. Joe Speaking is the standalone product that takes this concept further with dedicated infrastructure, cloud sync, progress tracking, and a comprehensive feedback system.
